Toni Collette has been an Australian actor for over twenty years. Her fame was first recognized through the comedy Muriel's Wedding and gained even more recognition after the release of the thriller mystery The Sixth Sense. The Australian actress is a versatile performer who has been involved on a variety of films, like The Hours. Japanese Story. About a Boy. Little Miss Sunshine. The Way. Way Back. Knives Out. The work she has done on TV in the United States of Tara, Wanderlust and the miniseries Unbelievable has garnered her a lot of praise. Television and films aside, Toni Collette has also been involved in stage productions such as Uncle Vanya and King Lear. She debuted on Broadway in the year 2000 when she performed The Wild Party. Following two years of studying, she decided to quit and concentrate on her career as an actor. Louisa grew up as part of a large family. In her spare time she loves spending time with her family on trips in the woods or grilling. Her family is extremely close to her brother who is younger than her. This is so much, that she even bought the apartment that he shares with her home in order for them to see eachother regularly. Louisa Krause Carrier At first she didn't do it for money. She did it to appear in front of serious movie producers. It was successful. In a Dark Dark House, Les Liaisons Dangereuses and other Off-Broadway productions were among the first plays she appeared in. The latter half of 2007 saw her taking as a supporting role in the films Babysitter as well as The Speed of Life. Then, she took a two-year absence from acting, before appearing in the movies Taking Woodstock & Toe to Toe. Then, over the next 2 years she specialized in making short films. Also, she is known for her cinematic work. The show she most recently appeared in, The Girlfriend Experience was nominated by the Golden Globes in recognition of her role as Anna Garner.
